a random photo shoot in a sweet gown

Thursday, February 13, 2014

so i mentioned the other day we are planning georgia's baby dedication.  i can't wait!!  she will be 7 1/2 months when it finally happens- yay!  however, we had planned to do it much sooner - like when she was teeny tiny and still in newborn clothes.  and my sweet mother-in-law got her the most adorable, angelic little gown for her dedication!  unfortunately, the gown is in newborn size and i thought G would be able to fit in it.  buuuuuut i tried it on her two weeks ago and could barely button the top button!  soooooo i had a little photo session because i mean, how sweet is that spikey-haired baby in that white gown?  so we may have to get a larger gown for the actual day, but i'm thinking of maybe using this one as almost a cardigan and leaving it unbuttoned over another gown?!?  either way.... this gown is so sweet and so special and she looks adorable in it!

I wanted Henry to be baptized in the baptism gown that I, my mom and my grandpa were all baptized in. Of course (being Lutheran) we were all baptized as newborns, so I had to get Henry baptized as soon as possible. Because of summer schedules, I was able to get it done when he was 6 weeks old, and the baptism gown BARELY fit. Didn't button the top button. But whatever. Nobody knew but me. :)

LOVE the pics! Can't wait to see her second dedication gown. :)

Oh my goodness, she is just the cutest in that little gown! Precious! Her dedication is going to be beautiful. How exciting! We did Scarlett's baptism at 7 weeks old. Luckily she still fit into my gown.

So cute! We didn't have a home church when Emma was small and now that we do we need to dedicate both girls! I think Gigi looks stunning ;)

She looks precious in her little gown!! I bet she'll look just as cute in a bigger one, too :)

Just precious. Well, worst case, if you can't button it in a couple weeks, you can wear it open and have a cute onesie underneath. Never too young to start the layering look. :)

I love my dress. It is what i expected, very nice. This is coming from a person who normally doesn’t wear dresses. I would definitely order from this company again.
