With the holiday season just around the corner, this quote speaks to me and calms my soul. I hope this year I will not become overwhelmed with trying to get everything done and checking off my lists, but just swimming. Swimming in the glow of Christmas lights, swimming in the laughter of family and swimming in kisses under the mistletoe. I can already smell the Christmas trees and taste the eggnog... I even bought wrapping paper yesterday! Too soon? I can't help myself...

Love it !! And I absolutely can understand you! Maybe it is really time to forget about the stress and just "swim" -- it will all be good in the end :-) I am especially looking forward to hot gluehwein at the Christmas market, walking through winter wonderland forests, inspiration-hunting for presents, wrapping them beautifully, watching xmas movies and family get togethers over the holiday!

That Dori was so smart. "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..." in order to cut down on the craziness of the holidays, my husband and I agreed to choose a person in need to donate to and only exchange stockings...no gifts. With my side of the family we also agreed to not exchange gifts... What a relief!! So much of christmas is giving gifts just because you're supposed to. We dont need anything this year. :)

Thank you for your sweet words on my post. I read your post about your past miscarriage and I can't tell you how much it touched my heart. I pray that whenever you and your hubby decide to try again that everything will be healthy! Thank you for your prayers, they are much appreciated.

P.S. I am you newest follower! :)
