truth for georgia grace

18 Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
Deuteronomy 11:18-19

For Georgia's nursery I wanted her to hear truth.  Thinking about my little girl growing up in this crazy world sometimes scares me a lot.  I was doing my quiet time the other week and read over these verses.  Now I'm not going to write verses and bind them to her forehead but I believe in her waking up to truth.  I believe in her looking on her walls and seeing these words and coming to believe them.  I want her to know she is beautiful and loved and that she will move mountains in she follows Jesus.  So here are a few tidbits from Georgia's nursery walls.  Two prints, a wall decal and a painting done by her mama.  I know the painting looks a bit silly but I tried my best and hopefully she will come to laugh at the visual but trust the words that are on that canvas.

They are BEAUTIFUL! and I know they will work - I had a verse in my bathroom growing up, and I memorized it by accident, just because I saw it every morning.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart....

I absolutely love all these, especially the "let her sleep" one. My dorm room is going to be pretty similar in the way I want truth everywhere I turn (:
