preggy update: 34-38 weeks

And now I bring you a preggy update! 34-38 Weeks

yesterday on the golf course with my hubby.  38 weeks.

How Far Along: 38 weeks today!  

Size of Baby: Georgia is the size of a small pumpkin!  She is about 18-20 inches long and weighs anywhere between 6-9 pounds!  AHHHHHHHHH 

Maternity Clothes: Still in them although I much prefer Matt’s t-shirts and my undies.  Now that I am on summer break I sometimes don’t change out of this attire all day. 

Stretch Marks: None yet.  Still doing my BioOil and Burt’s Bee’s Tummy Butter.  Although I have recently heard stories from women who developed them (gasp) after the baby…. Hoping that’s not me, but thankful for this little bunny rabbit inside of me.

  
Sleep: Sleep isn’t so comfy.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m tired.  But sleep is hard.  Verrrrry hard.  Maybe my body and God are prepping me for life after baby.

Best Moment of the Week/Past Month:  Oh my goodness hearing my baby’s heartbeat is so fun.  And seeing her wiggle around, although not the most comfy thing in the world, still amazes me.  I love her.  A lot.

 Movement:  Still working on her break dancing routine.  Although she’s running out of room as of late, so she’s using my organs as springboards.

Cravings: Mexican food and milk.  Yum.  Not together of course.

Gender: Still a baby girl :)

Belly Button In or Out: Barely holding its own as an innie.

Wedding Ring on or Off: I just took my engagement ring off this weekend.  My hands have started swelling in the mornings and while they always go down, I had a panic attack that one day they wouldn’t and my ring would be stuck.  So now I’m just rocking my wedding band.

Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: Going more than 2 hours without devouring something delicious.  That makes me sick and sad.

What I Miss: Red red wine.  I see you in my future. 

What I am Looking Forward to: Holding my baby for the first time.  It feels so close I can hardly stand it.  So excited for cuddles.  Lots and lots of cuddles.

Labor Signs: YES!  YAYYYY.  I’ve been having some Braxton Hicks but not too many.  We shall see if Georgia hold out two more week or not.  

Nursery: Finished!!!!  WAHOOO.  I’ve got a nursery tour planned for you lovelies later this week!  EEEK

Emotions:  Overwhelmed.  The good kind.  I am so so excited to meet my baby girl.  It’s all I think about.

I don't know about y'all, but magazines are my guilty pleasure.  I get an US Weekly subscription every Christmas from my hubby and my mom gets People from my dad.  And then we share.  It's pretty amazing.  Now that I am officially on summer break - and headed into a three-month-long maternity leave - I am gobbling up books and magazines by the second.  Well, that's where Zinio comes in.  Zinio is an online newsstand.  It offers digital subscriptions to ANY magazine you can imagine.

a letter from the worst blogger ever and my life lately

Dear Readers,

 

Soooo I owe you an apology.  I have officially become the worst blogger in history!  My lack of posts make me sad so, in turn, I apologize.  However, life has just been so fast-tracked lately and well - being 37 weeks pregnant makes you a little crazy at times.  There are so many posts I have in mind to write.  Things I want to share.  I promise I will get to those very soon.  But lately, my days have been filled with washing a certain little person's clothes, putting together a pack-n-play, and organizing every nook and cranny in my home (I have taken nesting to a whole new level my friends).  So I leave you today with bits and pieces of my life lately.  And with that I promise to have more posts coming in the future!
